Today, we celebrate a man whose life exemplifies purposeful leadership and unwavering commitment to public service Hon. Festus Olanrewaju Akingbaso, Member of the House of Representatives for Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency, as he marks another remarkable year.


Hon. Akingbaso’s political journey reflects depth, experience, and consistent service to the people. From his tenure as Senior Special Assistant to Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, to his impactful leadership as Chairman of Idanre Local Government, his contributions have remained people oriented and development driven.

His service as a Member of the Ondo State House of Assembly further strengthened his legislative acumen, which he now deploys with distinction as the incumbent MHR for Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency.


As he celebrates today, we honour not only his years, but also his legacy of dedication, resilience, and responsive representation. His commitment to good governance and grassroots development continues to inspire confidence and hope among constituents and colleagues alike.

2027 PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE SENT TO PRISON  Written by Lola Rakeem on June 22, 2026    2027 presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) Omoyele Sowore has been remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre after a Federal High Court in Abuja ordered his detention. The order was given by Justice Mohammed Umar following the revocation of Sowore’s bail and the issuance of a bench warrant for his arrest. Sowore appeared in court on Monday carrying a travel bag and was accompanied by supporters who gathered at the court premises with placards.
