 WHAT EXACTLY IS HIS OFFENCE. ???

If he is not the best Governor Ondo State ever produced, he will be the second best bcos I don’t know who to rate as the best between him and Agagu of blessed memory.


Each time I post about him, some people will just be unnecessarily be angry.  Let’s even talk about him today and settle this matter once and for all. 


Firstly, Some are saying he failed to pay salary for seven months. 


My response to those saying that is that, they are not fair to him. When Mimiko became governor, he was the first governor to be paying salary before 27th of every month and he did this consistently in his first tenure until Nigeria went into economic recession during his second term and this was a universal problem. Bcos out of the 36 states in Nigeria only four states were able to meet up with their salary payments at that time. So, the issue was not peculiar to Ondo state alone. Why crucifying him for what was beyond him ?


Secondly, some said he allowed Dangote to relocate his refinery to Lagos. 


This is the greatest political lie against him. Today, go and google what Dangote said about why he left for Lagos.

Dangote said clearly in a video interview that he left for Lagos bcos he had issue with Ibikunle Amosun, the then Governor of Ogun state.

If Dangote had cleared the air, why are people still blaming Mimiko for it. I think it is just a political weapon invented by his political enemies to destroy him. Dangote has exonerated him. 


Thirdly, some said he sacked workers. 


Let me ask you people; do you really want Nigeria to make progress? If you really want Nigeria to make progress, you will join hand with any Governor that is ready to clean the state of fraudulent practices.

What Mimiko did was to sack those who gained employment with falsified age, documents etc. Today we are all criticizing corruption but indirectly also criticizing those who are fighting corruption. Hypocrisy should be our second name.


Corruption is not about stealing of money alone, rather it includes every act of dishonesty, malpractice and indiscipline. It is corruption to forge your age so as to remain perpetually in the service and prevent new graduates from gaining employment when you don’t want to go on retirement at the appropriate time by reducing your age.


Why should Mimiko be the victim in this circumstances when he should be applauded. ???


If you still have anything against this man in other areas, mention it here and let’s debate it. 


To me, he is one of our best if not the best
