On this sacred and joyful occasion of Easter Sunday, I extend my heartfelt greetings and warmest wishes to all Christians within Akure North and South Federal Constituency, across Ondo State, and throughout our beloved nation, Nigeria.


Easter is a profound season in the Christian faith, a time when we commemorate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is a powerful symbol of victory of life triumphing over death, of light overcoming darkness, and of hope rising from the depths of despair.


As we reflect on the sacrifice made on the Cross and the miracle of the empty tomb, we are reminded of the boundless love, grace, and mercy of God. This season calls us to renew our faith, embrace forgiveness, and strengthen our commitment to love one another selflessly, just as Christ has loved us.


In these challenging times, when our nation faces numerous trials from economic hardships to issues of insecurity Easter reminds us that renewal is possible.
