New Dawn for Nigerian Youths Under Olawande

Since Nigeria’s transition to democracy in 1999, Nigeria’s Youth Minister, Mr Ayodele Olawande stands out as the only Youth Minister who has genuinely connected with and championed the interests of the country’s vibrant youth population.

He has carved a niche for himself as a trailblazer of youth development in Nigeria. Since his appointment, he has implemented innovative programs and policies that cater to the needs and aspirations of the country’s vibrant youth population.

The Minister has set his priorities right by focusing on access to capital for young entrepreneurs, recognizing its importance in job creation and economic development.

This was evident in his announcement of the government’s 2025 agenda for Nigerian youths, focusing on transforming and repositioning them to drive economic growth.

The minister’s emphasis on job creation aligns with his vision of empowering youths to thrive and catalyze economic development. Initiatives like the Corpreneur Support Scheme and Grassroots Youth Entrepreneurship Support Scheme (G-YESS) provide funding and mentorship to young entrepreneurs, equipping them with the necessary tools to succeed.

Olawande’s leadership style is built on passion, innovation, and a commitment to improving the lives of Nigerian youths. His primary goal is to expand and improve services that benefit all youths, demonstrating his dedication to their development.

Upcoming, the National Youth Conference will provide a platform for young Nigerians to engage directly with policymakers, share ideas, and contribute to national decision-making processes.
