 Adegbonmire Becomes Member Senate Committee to Oversee Rivers





The Nigerian Senate at the resumption of plenary today constituted 18 member committee to oversee the affairs of the Rivers State Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibot- Ete Ibas (retd).


The president of the senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio made this known during the resumption of plenary today 6th May, 2025.


Akpabio named Senate Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele as chairman of the committee. 


Members of the committee include: Adeniyi Adegbonmire (Ondo) Adamu Aliero, Osita Izunaso, Osita Ngwu, Kaka Shehu, Aminu Abass, Tokunbo Abiru,Sani Musa, Simon Lalong, Asuquo Ekpeyong.


Others are :Adams Oshiomhole, Ireti Kingibe, Onyekachi, Idiat Adebule, Ide Dafinone, and Mohammed (APC, Jigawa), alongside the Clerk of the Senate.

Police – Amotekun Face Off : Nine Officers Seriously Injured, Hospitalized In Ondo As G3,Ak 47 Guns Used Freely It was a tense situation and unimaginable altercation between operatives of the Ondo State Security Network, codenamed Amotekun Corps, and men of the Nigeria Police Force on Sunday afternoon following a disagreement over the custody of a suspect linked to a stolen motorcycle.
