Chief Dr. Saviour Enyiekere, the sixth Executive Chairman of the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC), has distinguished himself as a leader of remarkable vision and integrity, steering the commission with a steady hand since his appointment.


As the first Southern Nigerian to lead the NASC since its inception in 2001, Enyiekere has brought a fresh perspective to the institution, emphasizing inclusivity, worker welfare, and operational efficiency.

His swearing-in by President Bola Tinubu in May 2025 marked the beginning of a transformative era for the NASC, with Enyiekere pledging to enhance the welfare of workers and strengthen the commission’s role in supporting Nigeria’s legislative framework.


Dr. Enyiekere’s leadership stands out for its emphasis on transparency and accountability, qualities that have earned him respect within the National Assembly and beyond. 


During the handover ceremony at the NASC’s Utako office, he articulated a clear vision for improving staff welfare and fostering a culture of excellence, a commitment echoed by the Clerk to the National Assembly, Barrister Kamoru Ogunlana, who assured full cooperation from the assembly’s management. 


Enyiekere’s ability to inspire trust and confidence stems from his hands-on approach and genuine concern for the well-being of those under his leadership.


By prioritizing harmonious working relationships, he has cultivated an environment where innovation and dedication thrive, setting a new standard for administrative leadership in Nigeria’s public sector.
