Hon. Ayodele Olawande Wisdom


Hon. Ayodele Olawande Wisdom also known as Ayo Wisdom is a Nigerian entrepreneur and politician, serving as the current Minister for Youth Development. He was born in Ondo State


EDUCATION: He studied at the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti, Federal University of Technology Akure( FUTA) and University of Maiduguri.


OCCUPATION: Civil Engineer, Politician, entrepreneur and community development expert.


PARTY AFFILIATION: All Progressive Congress (APC)


Prior to his appointment as the Minister for Youth Development he was the Ondo State Youth Leader of All Progressive Congress





On October 16, 2023,  Comrade Ayodele Olawande Wisdom assumed the  position of the Honourable Minister of  State for Youth Development  with a clear priority; giving Nigerian youth with a sense of belonging. He later  became the full fledge Honourable Minister of Youth Development by October 23, 2024

  • HE has achieved a lot within a short period of time. Few of his  Achievements are listed  below.


NYSC Posting Reform: Corps members are now posted to organizations relevant to their field of study, enhancing skill acquisitions and career development.


Nigerian Youth Investment Fund Fund(NYIF) increased funding from #75 Billion to #110 Billion to support young entrepreneur.


Agricultural Development: Nationwide enrollment ortal for young farmers promoting agricultural development.


One Youth, Two Skills: Equip million of youth with market relevant skills through the Nigerian Youth Academy ( NIYA)


Youth Bank: A technical committee is working on establishing a youth Bank to address youth focused financial needs.


National Youth Policy:Focus on six key areas including economic transformation, governance, mental/ physical health, peace and security, gender inclusion and quality education.











Students Loans and Stipends: This was implemented to reduce financial stress and support young people in school.


Job creation: 2000 youth empowered in the transportation sector through CNG tricycles and 5000 youth trained in data protection.


Digital  Literacy Training: Thirty million youth to receive digital literacy training DL4ALL( with NITDA)


Increase in the NYSC Corps Members Monthly Stipends: From #33000 to #77000


The Ministry Supports Sectors like sports and Entertainment Through Partnership.


Youth  Confab: Youth now have a voice in decision making


Youth House Initiative: This has been approved by the President. It includes Youth Houses in Abuja, Youth Centres in all states and Green Houses in all the 774 local government areas in Nigeria.


Protection: The Ministry has established the Nigerian Youth Helpdesk a dedicated platform to address harassment and youth concerns where complaints are resolved in collaboration with agencies like police


National Youth Employability Action Plan: A technical committee was inaugurated  to create a conducive environment for youth employment in both formal and informal Sectors.


CNG Tricycles: 2000 youth empowerment in the transportation sector.


These are few among the series  of achievements of our Honourable Minister; These youth  oriented programs show the true picture of Honourable Minister for Youth Development Hon. Ayodele Olawande Wisdom. He is a core progressive leader.

Ayo Olawande Wisdom, we equally pronounce him as the best ever Minister  for Youth in Nigeria and one of the best among the present Ministers in Nigeria. We wish our leader a successful tenure in office and our prayer is that you will continue to make the Nigerian Youth proud.
