Anybody can love you when the sun is shining.
The real test begins when their is a storm.
Real love shine through when life gets tough. Challenges might be rough, but they reveal who truly got your back and who's just pretending. Some people might surprise you with their loyalty, while others won't meet your expectations.
Difficult times help me figure out who's worth keeping.
When I was a child, my late Mother, may God rest her soul said to me:
"Never lend your umbrella to someone who only remembers you when it rains."
I didn't understand it at the time.
I just thought it was a nice sentence, nothing else.
But I grew up, and life taught me its meaning:
I learned that there are people who only appear when they need something,
who seek you when their world collapses,
but when the sun shines,
they dont even remember your name.
When you're at your worst, pay attention to who still sees beauty in you. Notice who shows compassion and makes excuses for you.
When you're absent and don't want to meet anyone, observe who searches for you and wants to be near you. When you're exhausted, recognize who tries to revive your energy and bring a smile to your face.
Love reveals itself precisely in moments of hardship and vulnerability!
It’s about who stands in the rain with you, when they also have a choice to be dry.
