ONDO ALGON CHAIRMAN 'FASUA' PRESENTS NEW UTILITY VEHICLES TO KEY OFFICIALS TO ENHANCE ADMINISTRATIVE EFFICIENCY






Akure-South Local Government Chairman, who also doubles as Ondo State ALGON Chairman Unveils New Utility Vehicles to Key Officials to Enhance Administrative Efficiency







In a proactive measure aimed at bolstering the administrative capacity of the Akure South Local Government, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Dr. Gbenga Timothy Fasua, who also holds the prestigious position of ALGON Chairman, recently unveiled a fleet of utility cars for key officials. This significant event took place at the Local Government Secretariat, attended by department heads, dedicated staff members, and local dignitaries who came to witness this pivotal moment in governance.





During the ceremonial handover, Hon. Fasua extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Ondo State Governor, Hon. Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa. He acknowledged the Governor's unwavering support and commitment to empowering local governments throughout Ondo State, which has played an instrumental role in the enhancement of local administrative effectiveness.








Emphasizing the critical importance of efficient administration in delivering superior services to the community, Hon. Fasua articulated that the introduction of these utility vehicles is a strategic move designed to streamline operational processes and substantially improve the performance and responsiveness of the local government. He made it clear that modernizing transportation for key officials is essential for facilitating timely interventions and enhancing service delivery to constituents.


In his address, the Chairman urged the recipients of these vehicles to exercise responsibility in their use and to ensure that proper maintenance practices are followed to maximize the vehicles' longevity and efficiency. He further announced plans for an additional batch of utility vehicles to be rolled out shortly, signalling a continued commitment to equipping his team for success.

2. The Secretary to the Local Government

3. The Leader of the House

4. The Head of Local Government Administration

5. The Director of General Services and Administration

6. The Treasurer of the Local Government


Mr Victor Awe, the Head of Local Government Administration and a representative of the beneficiaries expressed profound appreciation on behalf of all recipients. He assured the Executive Chairman that the vehicles would be utilized judiciously to support their official responsibilities and further the goals of the local government.
