On this historic day, June 12, 2025, as Nigeria commemorates 26 years of uninterrupted democratic governance, we also celebrate the remarkable two-year milestone of Hon. Mark Bako Useni, PhD, as a distinguished federal lawmaker representing Takum/Donga/Ussa in the House of Representatives. 


Bako's, A seasoned politician with an illustrious career spanning decades, Hon. Useni has exemplified leadership rooted in integrity, empathy, and a relentless commitment to the progress of his constituents and the nation at large.


Bako's tenure as Chairman of the House Committee on Basic Education and Services in the 10th National Assembly has been marked by transformative initiatives, earning him accolades as a beacon of good governance in the Green Chamber.


Today, i honor his achievements, which resonate deeply with the democratic ideals of service, accountability, and justice that June 12 symbolizes.


Over the past two years, Hon. Useni has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to uplifting the lives of his people through impactful legislation and community-driven projects. 


His advocacy for improved access to quality education has led to significant reforms in basic education infrastructure across his constituency and beyond, ensuring that children in underserved areas have opportunities to thrive. 


Beyond the legislative floor, he has facilitated empowerment programs, providing scholarships, vocational training, and healthcare outreach to thousands in Takum, Donga, and Ussa.
