NAOSS Veracity Era Paid Courtesy Visit to SSA on Student Affairs, Pledges Collaboration for Enhanced Student Welfarism
On June 16, 2025, the Veracity Era-led administration, headed by President Comrade Alade, paid a courtesy visit to the office of the Senior Special Adviser (SSA) on Students Affairs, Hon. Kelvin Solomon Olaoluwa. The purpose of the visit was to foster a stronger relationship between the student leaders and the SSA's office.
During the visit, President Comrade Alade introduced his executive members to the SSA, showcasing the unity and solidarity within the National Association of Ondo Students Leaders. He expressed sincere appreciation for the SSA's continuous support and contributions to the students' welfare and community, acknowledging the positive impact of Hon. Olaoluwa's efforts.
The President emphasized the need for collaboration between the office of the SSA and student leaders to ensure a smooth and impactful administration, ultimately meeting the needs of the students. To achieve this, he proposed several initiatives, including:
1. NAOSS Campus Rebirth Initiatives (NCRI): Aims to revitalize and improve the overall campus experience for students.
2. Ondo State Students Bursary and Scholarship: Seeks to provide financial assistance and academic incentives to deserving students.
3.Ondo State Students Welfare and Security: Focuses on enhancing the overall well-being and safety of students within the state.
4. NAOSS & Government Partnership: Aims to strengthen the relationship between the student association and government agencies, promoting mutual understanding and cooperation.
5. Students Festive Palliative: Intends to provide support and relief to students during festive periods.
6. Logistics and Moral Support: Seeks to provide necessary resources and motivation to students, enabling them to excel in their academic pursuits.
In response, Hon. Kelvin Solomon Olaoluwa commended the student leaders for their positive mindset, proactiveness, and efforts in upholding the heritage of NAOSS. He emphasized the importance of leadership, stating that it involves taking responsibility for those being led, and highlighted key qualities such as authenticity, adaptation, genuineness, passion, and proactiveness.
Furthermore, The SSA on students affairs advised the students to form a formidable team, focusing on unique administration that promotes peace and unity. He encouraged the executives to gather maximum support for the President, ensuring a remarkable success in his administration. Additionally, he implored all executives to unleash their maximum potential to enhance the association's growth.
More importantly, Hon. Kelvin Solomon Olaoluwa promised unwavering support to the executives and the students' community in welfare, morals, social, and academic matters. He affirmed the achievability of the students' requests and emphasized the importance of throwing his robust support behind the executives, ensuring the success of their initiatives.
