SUPREME COURT JUSTICES UNITE IN SOLIDARITY AT SERVICE OF SONGS FOR LATE MAMA MRS. ZEPORAH PAUL ADAMU GALUMJE IN ABUJA

In a poignant display of unity and compassion, the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Hon. Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, led a distinguished gathering of Supreme Court Justices, both past and present, to honor the memory of Mrs. Zeporah Adamu Paul Galumje, the beloved wife of Hon. Justice Paul Adamu Galumje, at a heartfelt Service of Songs held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 today, at the CRCN Local Church Council (LCC) Wumba, Abuja.


The serene church, adorned with soft floral arrangements and illuminated by the glow of candles, provided a solemn backdrop as legal luminaries, family, and friends came together to celebrate the life of a woman remembered for her warmth, grace, and unwavering support.


The atmosphere was heavy with grief yet uplifted by hymns and tributes that echoed her profound impact on those around her.


Justice Galumje, a revered figure in Nigeria’s judiciary, sat quietly among the congregation, his stoic demeanor softened by the outpouring of love from his colleagues.


Speaking briefly in her remarks, the CJN described Mrs. Galumje as “a pillar of strength, whose quiet dignity and devotion to family inspired everyone fortunate to know her.” Justices such as Hon. Justice Amina Augie (retired) and Hon. Justice Sidi Dauda Bage, alongside other notable figures, shared personal anecdotes, painting a vivid picture of a woman who was not only a devoted wife and mother but also a community anchor whose kindness transcended social boundaries.









The service, marked by soul-stirring renditions of hymns like “IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL” by the CRCN choir, resonated with a collective resolve to uphold Mrs. Galumje’s legacy of love and service.


As the evening drew to a close, the gathering reflected the deep bonds within Nigeria’s judicial community, where personal loss becomes a shared burden.


The Service of Songs was more than a farewell; it was a testament to the enduring human connections that underpin the nation’s highest court. 


Attendees, including legal scholars and members of the Taraba State diaspora, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to honor Mrs. Galumje’s memory in such a dignified manner.


The event concluded with prayers for strength for Justice Galumje and his family, as the judiciary pledged to stand by one of their own in this season of sorrow, ensuring that Mrs. Galumje’s light continues to shine through the lives she touched.
