 100 DAYS: AKURE WEST LOCAL COUNCIL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR AIYEDATIWA



The Chairman, Akure West Local Council Development Authority (LCDA), Hon. Sunday Adejuyigbe has congratulated Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his meritorious and impactful 100 days in the saddle of governance in our dear sunshine state.


The Chairman, in a statement made available on his behalf, described the journey so far as challenging but rewarding, considering the yearnings and expectations of the people. The 100 days in office have been exceptional, purposeful, remarkable, and impactful.


Adejuyigbe maintained that "governance's business a serious business", thereby urging Ondo's residents to exercise patience with the administration of Governor Aiyedatiwa and be supportive, saying the courageous efforts, determination, and commitment injected into governance are beginning to yield positive outcomes. “This is just 100 days in office, and one can count numerous life-changing programs and projects he has executed and commissioned, while many are still ongoing.”


Akure west helmsman commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for being proactive, responsive, and effective in tackling rising cases of insecurity in the state in recent times. “If not for the pragmatic approach and efforts of Mr. Governor, our state, regarded over time as one of the most peaceful and orderly states in Nigeria, would have turned into a den of kidnappers and other related crimes.”


The massive infrastructural projects going on simultaneously across the length and breadth of the state are a testament to the fact that His Excellency is up to the task and committed to ensuring no road in the state is left unattended. Apart from the infrastructural developments, the record-breaking recruitment of more than 4,000 persons, including teachers into the civil service, is not only applauded but also minimizes the risk of insecurity in our environment, thereby says it is a celebration of accomplishments


The LCDA Chairman added that the sustainability of the Local Council Development Authority by Gov. Aiyedatiwa, against the parochial and selfish wishes of some individuals calling for its scrapping, remains the hallmark of this administration. He appealed to the listening and caring Governor to further fortify the LCDA administration for effective delivery and performance.


Adejuyigbe, while wishing His Excellency continued success, wisdom, good health, and Godspeed as he continues to deliver dividends of democracy to the entire citizens of Ondo State, also reiterated his unalloyed support, cooperation, loyalty and commitment and that of his steering committee to the administration of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa during this period and beyond, saying, “With cohesion, we will go far as a team and achieve what seems to be impossible.”
