On the symbolic day in our national history Honourable Abiodun Derin Adesida extends warm and heartfelt greetings to all constituents and Nigerians, as we commemorate Democracy Day-a day that reflects our nation's enduring pursuit of freedom, fairness, and good governance.


According to him, June 12 is more than a date, it is a testimony to the courage of Nigerians who fought for the sanctity of the ballot and the supremacy of the people’s will. It is a reminder that democracy thrives not only through elections but through consistent accountability, active civic engagement, and the defense of fundamental rights.


Honourable Adesida emphasizes the need for unity, resilience, and patriotic commitment of constituents. He urges all citizens to uphold democratic ideals through active participation and a shared sense of accountability.
