In my recent video, "Just Candid" Volume 1, I highlighted President Tinubu's accomplishments, and the reactions were mixed. Some praised my efforts, while others criticized me for not going far enough. However, one thing is clear: President Tinubu is a game-changer.


The President's achievements can be segmented into macro and micro accomplishments.


President Tinubu inherited a plethora of problems from previous administrations, which have become existential and require surgical solutions.

He is working tirelessly to address these issues, and his efforts should be appreciated. 


His focus on economic reforms is a testament to his commitment to transforming Nigeria.


On the macro side, he has implemented significant economic reforms.


For instance, Nigeria's trade balance improved from N20 billion in Q1 2023 to N5.7 trillion in Q1 2025. Oil production increased from 1 million barrels per day to 1.6 million barrels per day, with foresight to reach 2 million barrels per day.


Other notable achievements include:


 - Increased national minimum wage from N30,000 to N70,000

 - Net reserves grew from $4 billion to $23 billion

 - Foreign inflow rose from $654 million to $15 billion

 - Annual GDP growth improved from 2.47% to 3.40% (according to the IMF)

 - PMS importation reduced from 44.6 million litres to 14.7 million litres

 - Power generation increased from 4,000 megawatts to 6,000 megawatts

 - Subsidy spending eliminated, saving N4.8 trillion



With these, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's achievements are revolutionary, and his "compartmentalization of agenda" approach has enabled him to concentrate on economic reforms without distractions.


We should believe in his administration and give him the support he needs to continue transforming Nigeria.


Indeed, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the architect of Modern Nigeria.
