Hon. Derin Adesida,  Member representing Akure North/South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, not through noise but through performance and a deep-rooted connection to his people from  National Assembly to the streets, schools, and communities of Akure North /South, 


Hon. Derin Adesida's leadership has remained consistent, focused, and impactful who has proven that representation is not just about occupying a seat in Abuja but about using that platform to bring real, measurable development back home.


Hon. Derin Adesida is not one to rest on rhetoric. He has backed up his words with concrete legislative actions, sponsoring and supporting bills and motions that reflect the needs and aspirations of his constituency. Whether on national development, education, security, or community infrastructure, his contributions on the floor of the House have shown depth, clarity, and conviction.


Hon. Derin Adesida has remained a bridge between Akure North/South and the National Assembly, ensuring that the voices of his constituents are not only heard but also reflected in national policy directions.


Hon. Derin Adesida’s tenure has bring installation of solar-powered streetlights across various wards and communities. These lights are more than just physical infrastructure, they symbolize security, progress, and the dignity of residents who can now move more freely at night, engage in extended economic activities, and feel safer in their neighborhoods.


Hon. Derin Adesida has also turned his focus to education, which he describes as “the greatest gift we can give to any generation.” by facilitating  construction of block of six classrooms in public primary school, providing a safer and more conducive environment for young learners. In doing this, he has improved access to quality education for children. 


Hon. Derin Adesida has also facilitated job opportunities for many youths, placing them in federal and Private institutions through lobbying, recommendations and referrals.


He has also carried out financial assistance initiatives from supporting small-scale businesses, market women, ceremonies, covering emergency medical bills, various personal gifts and many to talked about. These acts of kindness, often done quietly and without fanfare, have created ripple effects of hope across the constituency.


What sets Hon. Derin Adesida apart is not just what he has done, but the clarity of his vision for Akure North / South.


He speaks often about transforming the constituency into a model of modern infrastructure, quality education, youth empowerment, and inclusive governance. And by all indications, he is already laying the foundation for that future.
