SENATOR ADEGBONMIRE REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO INCLUSIVE REPRESENTATION ACROSS ONDO CENTRAL SENATORIAL DISTRICT 













The attention of the Media Office of Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire, SAN, has been drawn to recent statements credited to Mr. Bayo Akinyelure, a community leader and cocoa entrepreneur, who alleged that Senator Adegbonmire has marginalized the people of Idanre Local Government Area in the course of his representation.


We wish to categorically state that these claims are not only misleading but also fail to reflect the Senator's demonstrated commitment to equitable development across all six local government areas of Ondo Central Senatorial District.


On the specific issue of the Federal University of Arts,Culture, Science and Tourism, which is to be established in Igbara Oke, we wish to set the records straight: the location of the university was not driven by any form of favoritism or bias. During the course of political campaigns prior to been elected, Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire SAN, was approached by the  people of Igbara Oke, to help in the establishment of the said university if elected. Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire SAN gave his word to the community that he would ensure the establishment of the said university if elected. The community had at the material time, identified the location/site, begun the construction of some buildings and agreed on the name to call the university. It is therefore clear from these facts that the allegation of bias against Idanre are unfounded.


Furthermore, we are pleased to inform the good people of Idanre that Senator Adegbonmire is currently sponsoring a Bill for the Establishment of the Federal College of Technical and Vocational  Studies, Idanre, a brainchild of the distinguished Senator. This is a testament to the Senator’s commitment to equitable access to federal educational infrastructure and his deep affection for the people of Idanre.


Senator Adegbonmire holds the people of Idanre in the highest regard and recognizes their significant cultural, historical, and economic contributions, not only to Ondo Central Senatorial District but to Ondo State as a whole. 


Rather than propagate narratives of division, we encourage community leaders and stakeholders to join hands with the Senator in building a united, forward-looking Ondo Central Senatorial District.
