ADEGBONMIRE CONGRATULATES AIYEDATIWA OVER APPEAL COURT VICTORY:

Says, Its A Triumph For Democracy And Good Governance

The Senator Representing Ondo Central, distinguished Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire SAN, has congratulated  Governor.Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa over Thursday's judgement of the Appeal court affirming him as the winner of the November 16,2024 gubernatorial election in the state.

Adegbonmire in a congratulatory message described the judgment as a significant affirmation of the rule of law and a reflection of the strength and credibility of Nigeria’s judicial system.

He praised the judiciary for its professionalism and integrity in handling the matter and commended the governor's legal teams for their diligence and decorum throughout the proceedings.

The federal lawmaker commended the leadership and commitment of Governor Aiyedatiwa to serving the people of the state and said he has no doubt that his victory at the court of Appeal will bring continued progress and development to the state.

It would be recalled that the People's Democratic Party(PDP), African Democratic Congress(ADC), Allied People's Party(APP) and Social Democratic Party(SDP) had filed appeals against the judgement of the tribunal asking for the invalidation of the November 16, 2024 governorship election on the ground of non compliance with the Electoral Act.

Adegbonmire therefore called on the opposition parties to sheathe their swords and see the judgement as a true reflection of the People's overwhelming support for the progressive party and it candidates.

Signed,
