Uniting for Progress and Supporting Good Governance












On August 6, 2025, Amptech Ondo State Executive Council, led by State President Engr. Ajayi Temitope, paid a visit to Amptech Ondo City Zone in a grand style. The Amptech Ondo City Zone warmly welcomed the state executives with enthusiasm and joy.


During his speech, the State President emphasized the importance of unity among Amptech members across the 18 local government areas of Ondo State. He highlighted Amptech's unique position as the sole association for mobile phone technicians in the state.






When asked about issues faced by GSM technicians, particularly regarding unlocking and flashing of cellphones, the State President provided clarity.








According to him, GSM technicians can perform unlocking and flashing services if customers provide necessary documentation, including:

- Original Receipt: Proof of phone purchase

- Carton and Other Proof of Ownership: Additional documentation to verify ownership

- NIN/Affidavit from Court: Identification and legal documentation

- Registration with Amptech Ondo State Job Form: Membership registration


If these requirements are met, technicians can proceed with the services. However, without proper documentation, technicians should handle cases individually without involving state executives.


The State president also introduced credlock investment company highlighting the benefit of their Buy Now Pay letter program.


The General Chairman of Amptech Ondo City Zone praised the state leadership for their efforts in promoting unity and progress among members. He appreciated the lecture and emphasized Amptech's unity in Ondo State.


Following the meeting, the State President, executives, and Amptech Ondo City Zone officials visited the Ondo City Area Commander.


They discussed challenges related to unlocking and flashing, and the Commander provided enlightenment on the issue, emphasizing that law enforcement agencies and GSM technicians should collaborate and support each other.


As the Ondo State Amptech is working to support the good governance of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatwa and Nigeria, the Amptech members were thereby urged to continue to support the government of the day in Ondo State and work effectively for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027.


This call to action underscores the importance of synergy between the association and the government in driving progress and development.
