HON. ABIODUN DERIN ADESIDA WELCOMES HON. DAYO AWUDE TO APC
The political landscape of Akure North witnessed a major realignment yesterday as Hon. Dayo Awude, Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the last Ondo State election, officially defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hon. Derin Adesida, Member House of Representatives, representing Akure North/Akure South Federal Constituency warmly welcome Hon. Dayo Awude to APC Akure North said it is a marked of significant political moment for the APC to further strengthening the party grassroots base and positioning ahead of future electoral contests.
Hon. Adesida, in his remarks, described Hon. Awude’s decision as a bold and commendable move that reflects the growing trust in the APC’s leadership and vision.
Hon. Derin Adesida also said that today marks a significant turning point not just for our party but for the people of Akure North. Your decision to join our great party shows the widening appeals of the APC and the confidence leaders from across political divides have in our developmental agenda.
