A Vote of Confidence: Okada Riders Unite in Support of Gov. Aiyedatiwa's Administration
OKADA RIDERS UNITE TO THANK GOV. AIYEDATIWA FOR DEVELOPMENTAL STRIDES, PLEDGES LOYALTY, SUPPORTS TO THE O'DATIWA ADMINISTRATION, HONOUR DR DR. SEUN OSAMAYE AS A WORTHY AIDE
The Okada Riders Association, Ilaramokin branch, has paid a heartfelt visit to the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Dr. Seun Bosede Osamaye at her country home in Ilara Mokin. The visit began with an opening prayer led by Mr. Sunday Remilekun. In his address, Mr. Arowomotin Tokunbo, the Okada Unit Rider Chairman and APC LG Youth Leader of Ifedore Local Government, introduced the riders present and expressed gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for entrusting such a capable leader with the portfolio of Commissioner. He emphasized that before her current appointment, Dr. Osamaye had always identified with them, regardless of their socio-economic status as bike riders, he describes her as a worthy aide of the governor.
He also commended the unique style of leadership of the Governor of Ondo State, his Excellency Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for Providing peaceful Leadership in all sectors , noting that his tenure so far has brought visible developmental and impactful strides to the people of Ondo State, That all bike riders now work together in harmony devoid of crises. Also, Mr. Sunday Remilekun, who is not a member of APC, also pledged his continuous support, describing himself as an ambassador of Dr. Osamaye’s goodwill and assures her of massive votes in the coming elections.
The riders appreciated Dr Osamaye's Care and inclusiveness, praying for her continued success. They further solicited for empowerment and employment opportunities for themselves and their families, before presenting her with a congratulatory gift and a framed portrait.
Responding, Dr. Osamaye described the gift as an “early morning and new month surprise gift,” especially meaningful as September is her birth month. She appreciated their thoughtfulness and assured them that she does not discriminate based on status or class. She urged them to continue in unity, to stand by the Governor and the state’s leadership, and not to give up despite challenges.
Encouraging the riders, she stressed that many only turned to Okada riding due to unemployment, and advised them to keep faith, continue taking steps forward, and prepare for opportunities. “If any of you is a graduate, dust your certificate because you never can tell when an opportunity will come,” she said.
The visit ended with prayers and goodwill, marking yet another testament to Governor Aiyedatiwa’s inclusive and impactful leadership.
