LIFE LESSONS FROM GIANTS OF FAITH: HUMILITY AND ZEAL AT THE HOLINESS REVIVAL MOVEMENT YOUTH CONFERENCE

This week, I had the privilege of attending the Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide International Youths Conference, held from August 26th to 29th, 2025 In abuja at the Campground.


It was a transformative experience, surrounded by spiritual giants like my father, Distinguished Senator Emmanuel Bwacha CON, and revered leaders like Pastor Paul Rika. What struck me most was their humility.


Despite their accomplishments—wealth, influence, and connections—these men carried themselves with a simplicity that felt like a living sermon.


I watched my father Distinguished Senator attend every session, diligently taking notes in his jotter and Bible, his focus unwavering.


It was a humbling reminder that no matter how high you climb, there’s always room to learn at the feet of Christ.


The standout moment for me was witnessing Pastor Paul Rika’s down-to-earth nature.


On the first evening, I saw him walking through the crowd, shaking hands, and greeting people with genuine warmth. Unlike some leaders who are shielded by security and protocol, he was accessible, radiating a humility that didn’t match his stature. It made me reflect on my own life.


Here were men who’ve achieved so much, yet they were still hungry for God, still serving with a passion that felt fresh and urgent.


It hit me hard: if these giants are this devoted, what excuse do I have? Their example challenged me to rethink my priorities and push deeper in my walk with God.


Watching my father’s zeal—his notepad filled with insights, his prayers fervent—lit a fire in me.


These men, with all they’ve seen and done, still chase after God like their lives depend on it. It reshaped my perspective, making me realize that serving God isn’t about reaching a certain level of success and coasting; it’s about a lifelong commitment to grow, serve, and stay humble.


I left the conference with a christlike sense of purpose: if men of such caliber can dedicate themselves so fully to Christ, then I have no choice but to follow suit, giving my all to God with every step I take.


May God help young people to dedicate their lives back to Christ and not things of this world 🙏 😢 


May we not be carry away for the flimsy things of this age 🌷🫶
