The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign running from 25th November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) to 10th December (Human Rights Day).
The Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Ondo State will be joining stakeholders globally to raise awareness, strengthening prevention systems, and advocate for an end to all forms of GBV.

OBJECTIVES
1. To create awareness on the prevalence and impact of gender-based violence in Ondo State .
2. To strengthen community structures and reporting mechanisms for GBV.
3. To engage key stakeholders—traditional rulers, CSOs, security agencies, schools, and community leaders—in coordinated GBV response.
4. To promote policies and practices that protect women, girls, and vulnerable persons.
5. To mobilize citizens to take collective action against GBV
