AKURE EAST LCDA ROLLS OUT RED CARPET FOR GOVERNOR AIYEDATIWA ON THANK-YOU VISIT, COMMENDS TRANSFORMATIVE PROJECTS






The Chairman, Management, and good people of Akure East Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Oda, under the visionary leadership of Hon. Barr. Kayode Taiwo Samson (New Breed), have warmly welcomed the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on his historic thank-you visit to Akure South on Tuesday, 23rd December 2025.


The visit stands as a moment of celebration and gratitude for the Governor’s monumental interventions that have dramatically transformed Akure East LCDA into what many residents now proudly describe as “Akure East Lekki.”


These people-oriented projects—spanning street lighting, road infrastructure, and other essential amenities—have enhanced security, boosted economic activities, and improved the overall quality of life across the LCDA.


Communities and neighbourhoods that have directly benefited from these laudable projects include Ilekun, Elemuletu, Ijomimo, Ijoka, Oke- Uro, Kajola, Adekunle Ajasin Area, NEPA Road, Lisa, Ilemo, Sijuwade Ala Quarters, Oke-Emeso, Ayetoro, and several others within Akure East LCDA.


The renewed infrastructure has brought renewed hope, dignity, and development to the grassroots.


The leadership and people of Akure East LCDA express profound appreciation to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his unwavering commitment to inclusive governance and sustainable development. 


His administration’s works continue to provide succour and relief to the people of Ondo State at all levels, reaffirming his dedication to progress, equity, and good governance.
