BTO Looms Large in Owo as PBAT Continuity Project inaugurates Ward Coordinators 






The ancient town of Owo in Owo local government area of Ondo state came alive on Monday as the political train of the PBAT Continuity Project, PCP landed in the city for the inauguration of ward coordinators in the council area.


The popular Mapo Hall, venue of the event was filled to capacity with members present adorning blue-colour branded faze-cap while the shout of BTO rent the air in appreciation of the huge contributions of the Akoko-born Minister of Interior, Hon Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo to boost the activities of the PBAT Continuity Project as one of the Tinubu support groups in Ondo state.




At the Owo inauguration,  a total of 100 bags of rice, 1,000 exercise books and a large number of faze-caps were freely distributed. 


Addressing the gathering shortly after the inauguration,  PCP Director-General,  Pastor Femi Agagu paid glowing tributes to the Minister, Hon Tunji-Ojo for going all out to facilitate and sustain grasstoots mobilisation for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election.


According to Agagu "Asiwaju 2027 is our project, the president is doing well as reflected through all life impacting projects dotting the whole of the country, from the South to the North, we cannot but find one project in each each state that is bringing good daily livelihood to the people, Tinubu deserves to spend another 4yrs in office. Let us go all out to support him come 2027. The minister, BTO is leaving no stone unturned, commiting his attention, resources and time into raising invaluable support for the President, PBAT Continuity Project is proud of him, we are so proud of him, may God continue to bless and keep him." 


He enjoined the newly inaugurated ward coordinators to visit every part of their communities to preach the gospel of Tinubu 2027 even as they seize the opportunity to tell residents about his giant strides especially in the areas of infrastructure, economy and life impacting reforms which recently had brought down prices of foods in the country. 



Agagu posited that Ondo state should give nothing less than 100% votes for President Tinubu in 2027 hence the urgent need for the ward coordinators to swing into action immediately "reaching out to different segments of the society, team up with the traditional institutions, work with women groups, get through to artisans, we are very optimistic that with a good product like Tinubu, our job of mobilising Ondo State people will not be too hard".


Agagu assured Nigerians that Tinubu was poised for more giant strides if given the opportunity to serve again, calling on residents of Akoko Southeast yet to get their Permanent Voter's Card to obtain it from INEC so they could have the power to reelect Tinubu in 2027.


Also speaking, charged residents of Owo to continue to believe in and support the administration of President Tinubu as it is committed to giving a new lease of life to Nigerians through the many remarkable achievements in the last two years.


Hon Elegberunibon also appealed to the Ward coordinators to take their assignment with all seriousness as Ondo state could not be left behind in mobilizing huge votes for the President in 2027.


Earlier, the PBAT Continuity Project Coordinator for Owo local government, an Ipele-born Pastor Bunmi Akelebe who was also full of appreciation to interior Minister, promised that all the good works of President Tinubu would be propagated in every community in the local government.


Eleven ward coordinators and local government excos were inaugurated in Owo local government.


Dignitaries at the event included a former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Ondo state, Adekola Olawoye, SAN and a former Commissioner for Women Affairs, Chief (Mrs) Adebunmi Osadahun.
