COMR. ALIYU ZAKARI GUPA CONFIRMED AS TREASURER OF NASC STAFF COOPERATIVE SOCIETY

​Comrade Aliyu Zakari Gupa of Public Affairs department, earlier today, has been officially elected and inaugurated as the new Treasurer of the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) Staff Credit and Thrift Cooperative Society.


The confirmation, which marks the conclusion of a successful electoral process, was formalized with the presentation of the Certificate of Return on December 5, 2025.


This development is seen as a significant step for the cooperative, which manages the thrift and credit activities for the staff of the NASC.


​The Certificate of Return was formally presented to Comr. Gupa in a ceremony overseen by the Chairman and Secretary of the Electoral Committee.


The document explicitly affirms his legitimate ascension to the office of Treasurer, NASC Cooperative Credit and Thrift Society, confirming that he successfully "fulfilled all conditions as stipulated by the electoral guidelines".


This meticulous adherence to due process ensures a transparent and smooth transition as Comr. Gupa prepares to take charge of the cooperative financial 

administration.


​With this official confirmation, Comr. Gupa is tasked with overseeing the financial affairs and managing the robust savings and loan scheme that benefits the NASC workforce.


Gupa appointment is expected to bring renewed focus and adherence to statutory guidelines in the handling of the cooperative resources, ensuring stability and growth for its members.


The entire NASC community now looks forward to his tenure in steering the financial direction of the Staff Credit and Thrift Cooperative Society.
