CRCN KUBWA CELEBRATES WIDOWS WITH INSPIRING CALL TO KINDNESS AND GENEROSITY

​The Christian Reformed Church-Nigeria (CRCN) LCC Kubwa (Chapel of Faith) hosted a powerful and moving Widows Day Celebration today under the theme: "Remember the Widows."


The service, conducted by the resident Pastor, Rev. Dr. Mark Ato Yohanna, served as a dedicated moment to honor the resilience of widows and reinforce the Church commitment to supporting the less privileged, especially as the Christmas season approaches.


The service shows the church mission to extend tangible love and compassion to those in need.


​The keynote message was delivered by the esteemed philanthropist, Hon. Elder Bulus Maiyaki (Makaman Donga).


Hon. Bulus, Drawing inspiration from the scripture Acts of the Apostle 10:1-5, Elder Maiyaki passionately preached about the essential virtues of kindness and love, urging the congregation to actively demonstrate these qualities toward the less privileged in their community.


Elder Maiyaki, specifically emphasized the importance of extending this compassion during the festive Christmas period, reminding attendees that true faith is evidenced by charitable actions.


Elder Maiyaki shared that his dedicated commitment to aiding widows led to the establishment of the Bulus Maiyaki Foundation.


​The celebration culminated in a remarkable act of generosity.


Hon. Elder Bulus Maiyaki personally concluded the service by distributing substantial gifts to the attendees, including bags of rice, chickens, cash, and other valuable items to the widows, orphans, and less privileged members of the church.


This kind gesture was met with immense joy and gratitude from the recipients, who expressed their profound happiness for the timely assistance as they prepared to celebrate the Christmas season.


The service, event stands as a shining example of faith translated into action, reflecting the true spirit of giving.
