The Executive Director of Corporate Services at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde (Abena), on Wednesday hosted members of his media team across Ondo State as part of activities marking the Yuletide season.


The meeting brought together media representatives from the eighteen local government areas of Ondo State and was aimed at appreciating their dedication, professionalism, and sustained support inlpkpkjmmlk projecting developmental initiatives and people-oriented programmes.


Hon. Abegunde, who was represented at the event by his wife, Chief Mrs. Olajumoke Abegunde, expressed profound gratitude to the media team for their commitment and resilience throughout the year. She conveyed his goodwill message, emphasizing the critical role of the media in promoting accountability, public enlightenment, and positive social change.


As part of the celebration, Christmas gifts and cash were doled out to members of the media team as a token of appreciation and encouragement for their contributions during the year.


Chief Mrs.Abegunde also reiterated Hon. Abegunde’s unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes, noting that supporting people at critical moments remains a core value of his public service philosophy. She assured the media team of continued engagement and support in the coming year.


She further commended the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Hon. Abegunde, Hon. Yusuf Ahmed Olamide (Gblack), for his effective media coordination, strategic leadership, and excellent delivery, which she said have significantly strengthened the media operations of the team.


Responding on behalf of the media team, led by Hon. Yusuf Ahmed Olamide (Gblack Olamide), members expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing Hon. Abegunde as a leader with a consistent passion for human capital development, inclusiveness, and responsive leadership.
