HON. GBENGA FASUA'S SWIFT ACTION: A DISPLAY OF TRUE LEADERSHIP 






Earlier today, I witnessed a deeply disturbing sight: a young girl, lying almost lifeless behind Bayduck Filling Station, near Hope Hospital, Okutaelerinla, Akure. 


It was a scene that would break any heart. Despite calls made to nearby security operatives, the response was minimal. The police arrived but said they could not carry her, and the hospital next to the location declined to admit her, saying she needed to be taken to the state hospital.


Feeling helpless but determined, I snapped a photo and shared a brief message on WhatsApp, hoping someone would act. 


Hours passed, nothing happened, then i decided to reach out directly to Hon. Gbenga Fasua.


To my surprise, the Chairman picked up immediately. I explained the situation and without hesitation, he promised to send his advance team.


Barely an hour later, he called back, not to give excuses, but to update me personally that he had gone there himself.


Though the girl was no longer at the spot, Hon. Fasua didn’t stop there. He went the extra mile, checking in a nearby hospital, she wasn’t there .


Minutes later, he messaged me again to confirm that the girl had reportedly gained strength and moved on.


I was stunned. This is not just a political figure ticking a box. This is a leader showing real concern for the wellbeing of his people. 


Hon. Gbenga Fasua blew my mind with his hands-on approach and care. 


In an era where most leaders are distant and unreachable, Hon. Fasua has proven that governance can be compassionate and immediate.


Dear Chairman, keep it up.


You have shown the heart of true leadership. The sky is your limit.
