NAVY TO COMMISSION REMODELED SCHOOL PROJECT IN TARABA TO HONOR REAR ADMIRAL GODFREY ENOCH KWETISHE

In ​TAKUM Local Government Area of TARABA STATE — In a significant boost to educational infrastructure and community development, the Nigerian Navy has announced the formal commissioning of a remodeled block of three classrooms at Kwambai Primary School.


This project, executed under the Chief of the Naval Staff Special Intervention Quick Impact Projects, stands as a high-profile tribute to the distinguished service and philanthropic legacy of Rear Admiral Godfrey Enoch Kwetishe.


A proud indigene of Kwambai, Rear Admiral Kwetishe has long been recognized for his commitment to the progress of Taraba State, and this initiative serves to cement his dedication to fostering a conducive learning environment for the next generation.


​The Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Idi Abbas (Admiralty Medal), cordially invites the general public, community leaders, and stakeholders to the official commissioning ceremony.


The event is scheduled to take place this Friday, January 23rd, at 11:00 AM within the premises of Kwambai Primary School, located in the Takum Local Government Area.


This ceremony not only marks the delivery of modern educational facilities but also highlights the Nigerian Navy strategic "Quick Impact" policy, which aims to strengthen the bond between the military and host communities through meaningful civil-military cooperation.


​This intervention represents a milestone in the ongoing efforts to uplift rural communities in Taraba State.


By honoring Rear Admiral Kwetishe through tangible infrastructure, the Nigerian Navy emphasizes the importance of excellence in service and the value of "giving back" to one roots. 


The remodeled classrooms are expected to significantly enhance the academic experience for students in Kwambai, providing a lasting legacy of development that aligns with the Admiral lifelong dedication to his people.
