REP. DERIN ADESIDA CONGRATULATES HON. IFEDAYO SUNDAY ABEGUNGE (ABENA) ON HIS BIRTHDAY







Member,  House of Representatives representing Akure North/Akure South Federal Constituency, Hon. (Prince) Derin Adesida, has extended warm birthday felicitations to Hon. Ifedayo Sunday Abegunde (popularly known as ABENA), the Executive Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and the Asiwaju of Akure Kingdom, on the occasion of his birthday.




Hon. Derin Adesida described Hon. Abegunde as a seasoned politician, grassroots mobiliser, and dedicated public servant whose years of service to Ondo State and Nigeria at large remain commendable. He noted that ABENA’s political journey and leadership roles have continued to inspire many, particularly the younger generation of leaders.




According to Hon. Derin Adesida, Hon. Abegunde’s contributions to national development, especially in his current capacity as Executive Director at the NDDC, reflect his commitment to good governance, inclusive development, and service to humanity. He also acknowledged ABENA’s traditional role as the Asiwaju of Akure Kingdom, describing it as a testament to the trust and respect he commands among his people.


The federal lawmaker prayed for God’s continued guidance, sound health, wisdom, and greater achievements for Hon. Abegunde in the years ahead. He expressed confidence that ABENA will continue to render impactful service to the nation and contribute meaningfully to the progress of Ondo State.
