DISTINGUISHED SENATOR ADEGBONMIRE CELEBRATES HON. IFEDAYO ABEGUNDE (ABENA), ON HIS 71st BIRTHDAY









The Senator representing Ondo Central Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire, SAN, has congratulated Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde (Abena), Executive Director, Corporate Services, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC, and Asiwaju of Akure Land, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a politician of depth, courage, and uncommon strategic relevance.






In a goodwill message issued through his Media Office, Senator Adegbonmire noted that Hon. Abegunde has consistently distinguished himself as a grassroots-connected politician whose experience in governance, legislation, and administration continues to add value to public institutions and political leadership. He described Abena as a steady bridge between tradition and modern governance.


The Senator further acknowledged the significance of Hon. Abegunde’s revered traditional title as Asiwaju of Akure Land, noting that it reflects the confidence of the people and the recognition of his contributions to community development, unity, and progressive leadership in Akureland and beyond.
