Senator Adegbonmire SAN Pays School Fees of 98 Indigent Pupils in Akure South.






Senator representing Ondo Central Senatorial District, Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire, SAN, has again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to education and human capital development as he paid the school fees of 98 indigent pupils at St. Peter's Primary School, Aponmu and St. Patrick RCM Primary School, Aponmu in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State.


The humanitarian gesture brought relief and excitement to pupils and parents who have been struggling under the current economic realities.


Speaking during the presentation, Mr. Gbenga Ayodele, the Head Teacher of St. Peter's Primary School, Aponmu, who was visibly overwhelmed  described the intervention as unprecedented in the history of the school. 


According to him, the kind gesture by the Senator would remain memorable for years to come, noting that it has restored hope to many families who were on the verge of withdrawing their children from school due to financial constraints.


Similarly, Mrs. Akerele, the Head Teacher of St. Patrick RCM Primary School, Aponmu lamented the growing inability of many parents to meet the educational needs of their children due to the prevailing economic hardship in the country. 


She expressed deep appreciation to Senator Adegbonmire for coming to the rescue of the affected pupils, stressing that the support would go a long way in sustaining the children's education.


Also speaking, Hon. Fasola Richard, the PTA Chairman of St. Peter's Primary School, described the intervention as a pleasant surprise and a rare act of generosity. 


He noted that the gesture would remain indelible in the hearts of the school community and prayed for greater accomplishments for the senator.


Parents and pupils who benefited from the gesture could not hide their joy as they openly sang praises and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the senator for remembering them in their time of need.


The intervention is part of Senator Adegbonmire's broader commitment to supporting education, empowering the less privileged, and improving the welfare of constituents across Ondo Central Senatorial District. 


Many residents have continued to commend the senator for his people-oriented programmes and consistent efforts to uplift communities through impactful initiatives.
