APC PRIMARIES: Adegbonmire Visits Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency.


 -Charges constituents to return President Tinubu in 2027.


 -List his achievements and enumerate the importance of re-electing him.



Ahead of the forthcoming APC Senatorial Primaries, the Senator representing Ondo Central Senatorial District, Adeniyi Adegbonmire SAN, on Tuesday stormed the Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency to engage party leaders, stakeholders, youths and grassroots supporters, where he charged party faithful to remain steadfast in their support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and work collectively towards ensuring his re-election in 2027.





The meeting which witnessed a massive turnout of APC members across the two local government areas, turned into a carnival-like atmosphere as supporters hailed the senator for what they described as quality representation, purposeful leadership and visible developmental projects across Ondo Central.



Addressing the gathering, Adegbonmire popularly known as OMO EKUN, said the administration of President Tinubu has laid a solid foundation for economic recovery, infrastructural renewal and institutional reforms, stressing that continuity in 2027 would further consolidate the gains already recorded. 





He urged constituents not to allow political distractions derail the progress of the APC both at the state and national levels.




The senator noted that his representation at the National Assembly has brought pride, visibility and influence to Ondo Central, adding that the district now occupies a strategic position in the Nigerian Senate due to his performance, competence and legislative experience.


Adegbonmire highlighted several achievements recorded within three years in office to include 

Sponsorship of impactful bills and motions targeted at improving education, infrastructure and economic growth.


His leading role as Chairman of the Senate Ad-hoc Committee on the Review of the 2026 Electoral Bill.

Active participation in the Constitution Review Committee where he has continued to advocate reforms that will strengthen Nigeria’s democracy.


Facilitation of developmental projects across communities in Ondo Central, including installation of solar-powered street lights in several towns and communities.


Speaking further, the senator emphasized the importance of returning him to the Senate as a ranking senator, explaining that seniority and legislative experience play critical roles in determining influence, committee leadership and access to strategic opportunities for constituency development.
