Youth Minister, Olawande seals a historic tripartite agreement, opening doors for Nigerian youth in sports, tech, and entrepreneurship on the global stage.

The Honourable Minister for Youth Development, Hon. Ayodele Olawande, has announced a significant advancement in international cooperation for Nigeria's youth. A recent high-level meeting, which included the Chairman of the National Sports Commission and representatives from the Embassy of the State of Qatar, served to fortify a crucial tripartite partnership.

The discussions successfully culminated in a concrete implementation framework for the Nigeria–Qatar Youth Development Programme. This landmark initiative is designed to unlock new avenues for Nigerian youth in areas critical to their growth and the nation's future, including youth exchange programs, entrepreneurship, leadership development, sports, technology, innovation, and job creation.

A key focus of the partnership will be enhancing institutional capacity through the Nigerian Youth Academy (NiYA) and the nationwide revitalisation of Youth Development Centres.

As the stakeholders proceed toward the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Hon. Minister Olawande expressed strong optimism about the transformative potential of this collaboration.

He emphasized that the partnership is fundamentally about constructing global pathways that will provide Nigerian youth with the essential skills, international exposure, and concrete opportunities required to excel in an increasingly dynamic global landscape.
