Ondo APC Stalwart MAJOR DEE Urges Calm, Embrace Prayer, and Stay Security-Conscious Amidst Rumors

 — An appeal for calm and responsibility in Ondo State.

– In response to the spread of online rumors causing anxiety among residents, Ondo State APC stalwart, Hon. Adewole Ayodeji (popularly known as Major Dee), has issued a heartfelt appeal for calm and unity.

Addressing concerns primarily within the Akure South Local Government Area, Hon. Adewole urged citizens to "keep calm and continue in fervent prayer for Ondo State and Nigeria." He emphasized that prayer remains a vital source of strength and guidance during challenging times.

A key point of his message was a strong admonition against the circulation of unverified information. "We must all desist from spreading rumors," he stated. "Insecurity fueled by fake news is not a friend to the general populace. Let us not be partakers of such acts, as they are not helpful at all."

Highlighting the importance of personal and community safety, he advised, "Please, let us be watchful and security-conscious of our immediate and extended environments at this critical moment."

Furthermore, Hon. Adewole called on government and security agencies to "remain vigilant, steadfast, focused, and committed" in their efforts to address security challenges, underscoring the need for official diligence to complement public cooperation.

The statement serves as a call for collective responsibility—promoting peace through faith, verified information, and heightened community awareness.
