CHILDREN'S DAY 2025: HON. FASUA CELEBRATES ONDO STATE'S CHILDREN;


 DEDICATES EFFORTS TO IMPROVING CHILDREN'S WELFARE SCHEMES 



In a heartfelt address on Children’s Day 2025, Hon. Gbenga Timothy Fasua, the distinguished Chairman of Akure-South Local Government and the devoted Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) in Ondo State, conveys his warmest wishes to the children of Akure-South and throughout Ondo State. He reaffirms his steadfast dedication to enhancing the welfare and development of children, a pivotal aspect of his campaign promise that centres on human development and social progress.





“On this significant occasion, I take immense pride in celebrating the intelligence, creativity, and resilience of every child in Ondo State. We must invest meaningfully in their growth through quality education, accessible healthcare, and nurturing environments that empower them to realise their fullest potential,” stated Hon. Fasua, emphasizing the collective responsibility to elevate the younger generation.


In his recent initiative, Hon. Fasua embarked on a comprehensive tour of various schools within the Akure-South Local Government. This tour was designed to evaluate school conditions closely, engage with students about their educational journeys, and motivate them to focus diligently on their studies. He firmly believes that these young individuals are not only the leaders of tomorrow but can also affect positive change today.


Acknowledging the invaluable contributions of teachers, Hon. Fasua expressed profound gratitude for their dedication and commitment to shaping future leaders. He recognized their critical role in fostering a conducive learning atmosphere that nurtures both academic and personal growth.
