The Chairman of Akure West Local Council Development Authority (LCDA), Hon. Sunday Adejuyigbe, has extended warm felicitations to Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde, Executive Director of Corporate Services at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), on his 70th birthday anniversary. The LCDA Chairman described Hon. Abegunde as a man of many parts and a consummate politician whose commitment to the progress and growth of Akure and its environs is remarkably exceptional.


In a statement issued on his behalf, the Chairman congratulated Hon. Abegunde on attaining this milestone, highlighting his dedication, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to public service. The statement also noted that Hon. Abegunde has been a major political force in Akure, Ondo State, and Nigeria, driven by vision and a strong supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.


Furthermore, the LCDA Chairman extended warm congratulations to Hon. Abegunde on his conferment of the chieftaincy title of Asiwaju of Akureland by the paramount ruler of Akureland, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi. 


The Chairman expressed confidence that Hon. Abegunde will serve with grace, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility in his new role.
