I extend my warmest congratulations to our esteemed leader, Asiwaju Ifedayo Sunday Abegunde, Executive Director of Corporate Affairs at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), on the joyous occasion of his 70th birthday and his distinguished installation as the Asiwaju of Akure Kingdom. I also warmly congratulate his beloved wife, Olori Jumoke Abegunde, on her well-deserved honor as Yeye Asiwaju of Akure Kingdom.



This dual celebration marks a significant milestone, recognizing their shared commitment to leadership, service, and the advancement of Akure Kingdom. I commend the wisdom and foresight of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi Odundun II, The Deji of Akure Kingdom, for bestowing this noble title upon Asiwaju Abegunde, a testament to his integrity, dedication, and impactful contributions.


I pray that God grants Asiwaju Abegunde many more years of good health, wisdom, and divine guidance.
