Hon. Derin Adesida's Two-Year Scorecard Impresses Constituents

Hon. Derin Adesida, Member representing Akure North/Akure South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has set a commendable standard for service delivery, grassroots engagement, and legislative performance.
Hon. Derin Adesida’s tenure so far has been marked by visible, people-centered projects across both local government areas of his constituency. Notable among these is the construction of a six-block classrooms at the School for the Deaf and Dumb in Akure, Akure South, a project aimed at promoting inclusive education. He has also facilitated the distribution of fertilizers to farmers, boosting food production and supporting agricultural livelihoods.

Derin Adesida's contribution to public infrastructure by installation of solar-powered street lights in several streets, communities across Akure North and Akure South, bringing safety and illumination to previously neglected areas while many young people have benefitted in employment opportunities both Akure North/Akure South federal constituency
Hon. Derin Adesida rendered financial assistance to individuals, families, community groups and many small scale businesses reaffirming his commitment to grassroots welfare. In addition, he maintains strong ties with party leadership, regularly meeting with local government party executives and supporting party candidates during and after local government elections.
Hon. Derin Adesida has shown legislative depth by sponsoring and contributing to critical bills and motions. Among his key legislative achievements is the bill for the upgrade of the Federal College of Agriculture (FECA) to a full-fledged Federal University of Agriculture, Akure, which has successfully passed second reading and public hearing. He also moved a motion advocating for the arming of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officials to enhance their operational security in high-risk areas.
Hon. Derin Adesida said my mandate is to serve, and am committed to driving visible development, protecting the interests of my people, and ensuring our voice is heard in national discourse. This is just the beginning.
