Empowering Nigerian Youths: CREDICORP's YouthCred Initiative Takes Off with NYSC Engagement

Today, I was in Lagos to engage with corp members who are currently undergoing the orientation course in NYSC camp, Iyana-Ipaja. The interaction with the corp members was a follow up to last Thursday’s launch of Youthcred, a government initiative meant to provide easy and fair access to credit by the youth of Nigeria, starting with corp members.

Aside from other channels of disseminating information on the program, this physical awareness will continue in major camps in order to ensure that the benefits of this intervention get to as many corp members as possible within the shortest time.

I thank the officials and corp members in Lagos NYSC camp for the reception and the enthusiasm with which they welcome our team. Let’s embrace this initiative and use it to improve our financial well-being. YouthCred is here!
