NUJ NASS CHAPEL HONOURS HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CLERK, DR. YAHAYA DANZARIA , WITH AWARD OF EXCELLENCE 






​Earlier today, the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), National Assembly (NASS) Chapel, and the Press Week Planning Committee, officially visited the Clerk of the House of Representatives, Dr. Yahaya Danzaria, Esq. to present him with an Award of Excellence and Quality Representation.


The visit also served to honour Dr. Danzaria for his consistent support and identification with the union activities whenever called upon.


The Clerk, whose full credentials include LLB, BL, MSc, PhD, FIPAN, FIMC, and FICANN, expressed profound gratitude to the delegation for considering him worthy of the prestigious recognition, assuring them of his continued commitment and solidarity with the union.


​During the award presentation, the Chairman of the NUJ NASS Chapel, Comrade Abdulkadir Sarafadeen, MSc, delivered remarks highly commending the Clerk. 


Comrade Sarafadeen specifically applauded Dr. Danzaria unwavering commitment to the union, recognizing his valuable support and cooperation over time.


Following the Chairman address, Mr. Elijah Ter Vanger, Chairman of the Press Week Planning Committee, further praised Dr. Danzaria tenure and leadership. 


Mr. Vanger concluded by offering prayers for divine guidance and continuous support for the Clerk and his commendable leadership.


​Responding to the accolades, Dr. Danzaria, the Chief Accounting Officer of the House of Representatives, reiterated his appreciation for the honour bestowed upon him by the esteemed body of journalists.


He thanked the NUJ NASS Chapel leadership for recognizing his efforts, promising to not only stand with them but also by them in all their legitimate endeavors.


This interaction solidified the cordial and mutually supportive relationship between the National Assembly Management and the legislative journalists' union.
