​Earlier this afternoon in Jalingo– In a move to foster collaboration between the government and the younger generation, JOHNFUSEH, including Barrister Benjamin Damisa, paid a high-profile courtesy visit to the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) of Taraba, Chief Barr. Gebon Timothy Kataps, at his office in Jalingo.


The visit served as a formal recognition of the SSG ongoing commitment to human capital development and his strategic use of public office to uplift the state burgeoning youth population.


​Upon arrival, we observed the high volume of constituents seeking counsel at the SSG office, a testament to Barr. Kataps’ reputation as an accessible and grassroots-oriented leader.


The primary objective of the meeting was to express gratitude for the SSG specific initiatives in equipping Taraba youth with innovative technological skills. By prioritizing modern expertise and digital literacy, the SSG has provided a sustainable roadmap for young men and women to thrive in an increasingly competitive global economy.


​Addressing the broader context of my visit, i clarified to the SSG that my occasional criticisms of state affairs are rooted in a deep-seated desire for a functional and prosperous Taraba that serves all citizens.


We lauded Barr. Kataps for being a vocal and proactive leader who consistently identifies with the aspirations of the youth. 


The session concluded with a sense of optimism, as both parties reaffirmed our dedication to building a state where innovation, technology, Ai and inclusive governance remain at the forefront of the administration agenda.
