While scrolling through my gallery this morning, a picture caught my eye, It was a picture of five Amazons strategically occupying different strategic leadership positions in the administration of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in Ondo State.

Some freshly introduced to  the system to bring in their passion and explore their potentials, some  to bring in their wealth of experiences, now serving in a different terrain to also contribute their quota 


One picture, five women, yet tells a powerful evidence of a leader's conviction and commitment to the growth and development of women in Ondo State. 


The unwavering commitment of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to women empowerment is Loud and Laudable. Beyond noise, rhetorics and excuse, We have a Governor who is strategically grooming the next sets of generation of female leaders, no wonder, Women celebrate him every where he goes expressing their love for a man who has shown women can be positioned indeed  through merit.


Today, The SPCU Train will be Moving To Ilaje LG  for Advocacy and Community Engagements  as  part of the implementation Start -Up strategy  of the  Nigeria for Women Scale  -Up Project  (NFWP-SU) aimed at empowering and improving  the livelihood of rural and peri-urban women in Ondo State.


The  Igbokoda meeting is to intimate  all stakeholders  such as traditional rulers,community leaders, market women etc on the implementation protocols of the WB inorder for  our women to maximally benefit  from this life  changing programme under our EASE AGENDA.


This programme is opened to women aged 18 years and above who own a means of livelihoods however small the enterprise could be.


This senstisation meeting will  immediately be followed with women forming Women Affinity Groups (WAGs) for ease of fund assessment  under the NFWP-SU project. 


It is a New Dawn In Ondo State!
