OND0 STATE AT 50: SENATOR ADEGBONMIRE CONGRATULATES RESIDENTS


 - Commends Gov Aiyedatiwa Infrastructural and Economic Growth Policies 


-Calls for Renewed Unity and progress.







The Senator representing Ondo Central Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire, SAN, has congratulated the government and good people of Ondo State as the state marks its golden jubilee, 50 years of creation.


In a statement issued by his media office and personally signed, Senator Adegbonmire described the 50th anniversary as a historic milestone that calls for deep reflection, renewed commitment, and collective resolve to move the state to greater heights.


According to him, Ondo State has come a long way in its journey of growth, resilience and development, recording notable progress across critical sectors despite various challenges over the years. 


He noted that the golden jubilee is not just a moment of celebration, but a call to reawaken the Ondo spirit of unity, hard work, and excellence.


He paid special glowing tribute to the founding fathers of the State and to all past and present leaders who, in different capacities, have made enormous sacrifices to build and sustain the state, describing them as patriots whose labours must never be forgotten.


Also,the federal lawmaker commended the State Governor His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his leadership and sustained efforts at steering the state on the path of stability, development and inclusive governance.


He specifically praised the administration’s focus on infrastructure, human capital development and economic growth, stressing that continuity of purposeful leadership remains key to achieving the Ondo of our dreams.


Adegbonmire urged all residents, irrespective of political, ethnic or religious differences, to embrace unity, mutual understanding and collective responsibility as the surest way to accelerate the state’s development.


“At 50, Ondo State must not only celebrate its past, but boldly secure its future.


This is the time for us to close ranks, strengthen our unity, and work together for faster progress and sustainable development. 


A divided people cannot move forward, but a united Ondo can achieve anything,” he stressed .


He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment in the National Assembly to continue to attract meaningful interventions, quality legislation, effective oversight and people-oriented projects that will further improve the lives of the people and complement the efforts of the state government.


Senator Adegbonmire concluded by wishing the people of Ondo State a happy 50th anniversary celebration and expressed strong optimism that the next chapter of the state will be greater, stronger and more prosperous than ever before.
