UNITY IN DIVERSITY, A TAPESTRY OF FAITH AND CULTURE: DIGNITARIES GATHER AS REV. MARK ATO YOHANNA BIDS FAREWELL TO ABUJA

​The CRCN LCC Kubwa (Chapel of Faith) was transformed into a vibrant hub of heritage and emotion earlier today Sunday as the congregation held a grand send-forth service for Rev. Dr. Mark Ato Yohanna and his wife, Mrs. Funke Ato Yohanna.


The event, which doubled as a "Cultural Day Revival," drew a distinguished gallery of guests from the highest echelons of the judiciary, legislature, and security forces. Among those in attendance were Baba Justice Paul Adamu Galumje (Rtd), the Honorable Commissioner of the Police Service Commission representing the Judiciary; ACP Tino Dangana; the newly appointed Judge of the Federal High Court Abuja, DCR Edingah Galumje Mni. 


The high-profile gathering also included Distinguished Senator Barr. Emmanuel Bwacha CON (represented by his wife), Danjuma Usman Shiddi, Danji SS, Hon. Elder Bulus Maiyaki, Rev. Apostle Istifanus Bala Bahago and his wife, and Hon. Tuno and many others, all joining the local community to honor the outgoing minister.


​The sanctuary echoed with the rhythms of various ancestral homelands as members of the Yoruba, Ichen, Jukun, Kuteb, Chamba, Idoma, and Tigun tribes took center stage.


Dressed in a stunning array of traditional attires, the different groups performed cultural dances that turned the religious service into a breathtaking display of Nigerian identity.


This spirit of togetherness was captured perfectly by the guest speaker, Apostle SP Kadiri Angulu, who preached on the theme of "Unity in Diversity." In a stirring message, he reminded the crowd that regardless of tribal marks or language, every person is a deliberate creation of God, and that our diverse backgrounds are a divine design meant to bring us closer rather than pull us apart.


​As the ceremony drew to a close, Rev. Dr. Mark Ato Yohanna stood to offer a heartfelt farewell, visibly moved by the massive turnout of dignitaries and friends.


Dr. Ato Yohanna expressed his profound appreciation to the congregation for honoring his family with such a colorful exit as he prepares to take up his new assignment in Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State.


While the day marked the end of his chapter in Abuja, the fusion of traditional dance, high-level accolades, and spiritual exhortation ensured that his legacy at Chapel of Faith ended on a note of triumph and communal love.
