CONDOLENCE MESSAGE TO THE PEOPLE OF ÀKÚRÉ NORTH
Hon. Derin Adesida, Honourable Member representing Akure North and South Federal Constituency, expresses his heartfelt condolences to the good people and the entire family of the Agamo Community in Akure, particularly in Akure North Local Government Area, over the unfortunate and disturbing attack on His Royal Majesty, Oba Kehinde Jacob Falodun the esteemed monarch of the community.
This painful incident has come as a great shock, not only to the sons and daughters of Agamo but to the entire constituency.
Our traditional rulers remain the custodians of our heritage, symbols of unity, and pillars of peace within our communities. Any act of violence directed at such a revered institution is an attack on the peace and collective dignity of our people.
Hon. Adesida strongly condemns this act and stands in solidarity with Oba Falodun, the royal family, and all residents of Agamo Community during this difficult time. He prays for the speedy recovery of His Royal Majesty and for calm to prevail across the community.
Furthermore, he calls on all relevant security agencies to intensify their efforts in investigating this attack and to ensure that all perpetrators are swiftly apprehended and brought to book. Justice must be served to deter future occurrences and to restore public confidence in the safety of our communities.
Hon. Adesida reassures the people of Agamo and the entire Akure North Local Government Area of his unwavering commitment to their security, peace, and development.
He urges residents to remain law-abiding, vigilant, and cooperative with security operatives as investigations continue.
May peace and stability be restored to Agamo Community and the entire constituency.
Hon Derin Adesida
