Barr. Adedipe Progresses With Ward Tour in Akure South, Seeks Leaders’ Support





Akure North and South Federal Constituency aspirant, Barrister Adebiyi Alex-Adedipe has progressed with his ongoing tour of ward leaders across the constituency, with a visit Ward 8, Oke Aro, in Akure South Local Government Area.




The visit had in attendance major political stakeholders, elders and leaders, including commissioner for local government commission, Hon Mrs Ronke Ojo, Chairman of the ward, Councillor amongst others.




Speaking during the meeting, the Aleco Jnr campaign Director-General, Rotimi Rotama, appealed to party leaders to rally support for Adebiyi’s aspiration to represent the constituency at the federal level. 


He emphasised the need for unity and collective backing to ensure effective representation.


Addressing the gathering, Barr. Adebiyi expressed appreciation to the leaders for their continued support, describing the All Progressives Congress (APC) as one united family. 


He noted that his engagement with ward leaders aligns with the party’s tradition of consulting stakeholders in the candidate selection process, adding that he remains committed to the growth and unity of the party in Akure and Ondo State.


The aspirant further pledged to address identified gaps in past representation, stressing that Akure has the potential for greater development. 


Leveraging his legal background, he assured constituents of quality representation and impactful leadership. 


He also highlighted his longstanding contributions to community development, drawing inspiration from the legacy of his late father, whom he described as a dedicated figure in Akure’s progress.


Similarly, as part of his visit to the ward, Barrister Adedipe also visited former Akure South Chairman, Mr Afolabi Akinwale; the Ward Chairman, Comrade Olanrewaju; Civil Service Commissioner, Mrs Yetunde Fayoriju; Supervisory Councillor of Oyemekun LCDA, Hon. Lanre Ojo; alongside other party leaders in the ward.


As part of the visit, Adebiyi announced a donation in support of party elders, commending them for their dedication and participation in the political process.
