Hon. (Mrs) Bukola Ajayi Empowers 150 Women With Cash Gifts, Food Items
Hon. (Mrs) Bukola Ajayi a.k.a Iya Oodua, Special Assistant to Mr Governor on Non-Indigene (Women), has once again demonstrated her commitment to the women by empowering 150 women with cash gifts and food items.
The empowerment took place on Tuesday, March 31st, 2026, at Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa Campaign Office, Cathedral.
The event, now in its fourth edition, provided financial relief and essential support to women in the society.
The food items distributed included rice, garri, semo, spaghetti, vegetable oil, tomato paste, salt, sugar, custard, among others.
Hon. (Mrs) Bukola Ajayi emphasised the importance of uplifting women, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and cared for.
"Women play a vital role in our society, yet many face economic hardship. This initiative is about showing them love, care, and ensuring they are not forgotten she stated.
She thank Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for appointing her to serve and pray that God Almighty will continue to guide and keep him.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed deep appreciation for Hon (Mrs) Bukola Ajayi a.k.a Iya Oodua generosity, saying the financial and material support would help ease their burdens.
The event was graced by Senior Special Assistant to Mr Governor on Political Matters, Hon Smart Omodubi and aspirant for ODHA Akure South Constituency 1, Hon Rosemary Adeola Fynch's all of whom commended Hon. (Mrs) Bukola Ajayi for her continuous dedication to empowering the women.
