The engagement, themed “Addressing the Surge of Insecurity in Akure: Collaborative Efforts of Law Enforcement and Youths,” provided a platform for open discussion on the roles both the police and the youth must play in ensuring a safer community.

In his remarks, DSP Jimoh emphasized the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to safeguarding lives and property, while also highlighting the importance of intelligence gathering, community policing, and trust-building between residents and security agencies.
